About Me
My name is Shane Transue and I am an interdisciplinary research scientist in computer science and engineering. My current primary research directions include: physical simulation of elastic materials, generative design for 3D printing, computer vision for medical imaging, scientific visualization, and integrative graphics development. I received by Ph.D from the University of Colorado Denver under Dr. Min Choi. I received my M.S. from the University of Colorado Denver in Computer Science with a research focus in Computer Graphics and Physical Simulation. I received my B.S. from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in computer science with a minor in mathematics.
